A truth to carry
The fear of becoming dependent can grow louder with age. God answers that fear with a promise built from repeated words: I will bear. I will carry. I will deliver. Your need does not make you an inconvenience to the One who made you. Receiving care can require as much grace as giving it. Let others help when help is needed. Make wise plans for health, finances, housing, and support, but do not let planning become an attempt to eliminate every possibility of need. Human independence has always been partial. God's faithfulness is not. The hands that carried you through earlier seasons have not weakened with time.
