A truth to carry
Retirement may complete a career, but it does not complete God's work in you. There are still depths of trust to learn, tenderness to receive, habits to release, and love to give. Spiritual formation has no retirement date. You are not responsible to finish yourself. The One who began the work remains faithful to continue it. That promise frees you from both complacency and panic. Stay available. Let Scripture correct you, let people teach you, let grace soften you, and let new seasons reveal new places of growth. God is not merely using your remaining years. He is lovingly forming you through them.
