A truth to carry
You have received gifts through personality, experience, training, hardship, and grace. Retirement changes where those gifts are used, not whether they exist. A former manager may become a mentor. A careful organizer may help a small ministry. A patient listener may become a safe companion. A craft, meal, prayer, repair, or ride can carry grace. A steward does not own the gift or use it to build identity. A steward makes it available wisely. Ask where your gift meets a real need without violating the limits of this season. You may be surprised by how much grace can travel through one ability offered without fanfare.
