A truth to carry
Joshua stood at the edge of a future he had never managed before. Retirement has its own unfamiliar territories: a different home, changing health, reduced income, a new caregiving role, or days that need a fresh rhythm. Courage is not pretending these transitions are easy. God anchors courage in presence: "I am with you." He does not promise that every move will feel comfortable or that every risk will succeed exactly as imagined. He promises companionship. Gather reliable information. Ask for help. Make a thoughtful plan. Then take the step that faith and wisdom place before you. Fear can come along, but it does not have to drive.
