A truth to carry

This final verse is wonderfully simple. If you have breath, you have an invitation to praise. Praise is not reserved for people whose lives are settled, whose minds are always quiet, or whose faith never trembles. It belongs to every breathing person who turns toward God. Perhaps your praise will sound different after these thirty-three days. It may be less about trying to convince yourself that life is easy and more about remembering that God is faithful. It may be a deep song, a whispered prayer, a thank-you in the car, a verse by the bed, or a moment when you lift your eyes instead of following the worry farther down its path. You do not need to carry this devotional as another standard to meet. Carry it as a rhythm of return. When overthinking begins, return to praise. When fear rises, return to the God who is near. When you need help, receive it without shame. When peace comes slowly, receive it as a gift rather than demanding more from yourself. Every breath can become a reminder: God is present in this moment. The future is in His hands. You are allowed to be human, and you are invited to worship. This is not the end of your journey toward peace. It is a gentle beginning of a life that keeps lifting its eyes to God. Let your next breath be enough to begin.
