A truth to carry

The open hours create room to notice people. To "consider" someone is to give thoughtful attention: What might encourage them? Where are they carrying more than they say? What gift in them could be called forward? Retirement can sometimes shrink social circles, especially after leaving workplace relationships. Rebuilding connection may require intention. Join a church group, class, walking group, volunteer team, or neighborhood gathering where care can become mutual. You are not only looking for people to help; you are also allowing yourself to be known and encouraged. Christian community is not a stage for one strong giver. It is a body in which love moves in more than one direction.
