A truth to carry
The psalmist does not pretend age removes vulnerability. He asks God not to forsake him, then asks for time to show God's strength to those coming behind. Dependence and influence live in the same prayer. You do not have to appear invincible to leave a strong legacy. Younger people may learn more from watching you ask for help, return to prayer, make amends, and trust God through limitation than from hearing a polished success story. Let them see where your strength comes from. A life that needs grace and keeps receiving it can make faith believable to a generation tired of appearances.
